Ss will be  able  to:
   listen to, read and view with understanding, accuracy and critical appreciation, a wide range  of  fiction  and  non-fiction  texts  from  print,  non-print  and  electronic  sources.

• provide  rich,  qualitative  and  formative  feedback, framed in terms of what Ss can and        need to do, to             help  them      determine the next steps to           take to improve their learning.
• involve Ss actively in learning to assess themselves and each other (i.e., self           and  peer assessment respectively) using explicit             and clear evaluation criteria           
that are made known to Ss.
