Weather Forecast
 Friday -North Island, a few showers in the north, fine or becoming fine elsewhere. South Island, some drizzle in Fiordland and Westland, cloudy in Buller, and fine or becoming fine elsewhere.
Saturday -North Island, a few showers in the north and fine elsewhere. South Island, cloudy in the west with some drizzle in Fiordland and Westland, fine elsewhere.
Sunday- North Island, cloudy periods in the north, and mostly fine elsewhere. South Island, cloudy in the west with rain in Fiordland and Westland, high cloud in the south with some rain later, mostly fine elsewhere.
Chatham Islands
On Friday and Saturday, fresh southwesterlies and cloudy periods. Sunday brings increasing fine spells and wind turning northwesterly.

o    Mainly fine today. Rain spreading north tomorrow, with possible snow flurries about the Desert Road, easing later tomorrow and clearing Wellington and Taihape.
v  Marlborough and Canterbury
o    Fine today. Rain developing overnight, with snow lowering to 500 metres, retreating to the high country tomorrow morning.
v  Otago and Southland
o    Rain spreading north today, snow lowering to 500 metres. Becoming fine tomorrow.
v  Nelson, Buller and Westland
o    Fine and cloudy periods.
v  Fiordland Drizzle, turning to rain later today. Fine tomorrow apart from isolated afternoon showers.
